Tony, The driller struck water where you said it was. I think I've got lots of water at a higher depth than my neighbors wells. By the way the driller is also a dowser and he did his trick and agreed that that was the place. Of course his measurements also said the old well site had water.
Anyway I am very happy to have used your services and to have had things turn out so "well". Thanks for all your efforts.

The new well is working "well". I think I have a copy of the drilling report. The driller found water at about 280 feet at over 300 gal per min. The well as installed is easily capable of 100 gal per min. The water is potable ( I have a lab report on that too). The main problem is that the old irrigation pipe fittings have been breaking wherever there is stress in the fitting. The 150 psi static pressure when the well motor is automatically shut off may be a bit to high.
P.S. The rock that the drill brought up where the water was, was fractured like you said, coarse chips not fine ground granite.
