Most dishonest drillers will try and discourage you from utilizing Radar Water computer generated targets.
Most drillers through-out California will tell you that technology does not work. They are lying to you. DO NOT hire that driller. The driller wants you to know/believe that he knows where water is. All drillers can drill but the driller that snowballs you into believing that he knows where the water is, GETS THE JOB. Drillers are not educated Geologists, Hydrologist or Geophysicists. At around the 800 foot depth, the price of the well and upkeep EQUALS the City water bill. Dishonest drillers will convince you that drillind blindly, water is between 300 to 500 feet.

#1 Best Driller on Computer Targets:
Mark: batted 1000. This driller passed away.
Hit water on 35 plus (+) straight Radar Water computer targets.
Averaging greater than 50 gpm with wells producing 100’s of gpm.
Always drills right on target.
Mark drills straight holes.
Drilling fast deflects the drill bit way off target.
Mark is just the best driller for computer generated targets.
2nd. Best Driller: To date, no recommendation.
If you have a very good fractured system, then I will recommend a driller[s] after you receive the geological PDF report from the Hydro-geologists.
3rd. ???: Any regular / inexperienced, drillers.
Don’t hire drillers with under 10 years experience.
Both in San Diego or Riverside Counties.
Riverside has many poor drillers.
4th. Worst driller on Radar Computer Targets, Stehly Bros:
For some reason they are the worst driller on Radar Water computer targets.
Likes to convince people to drill deep. Around 800 feet in depth the well upkeep averages the city water bill.
Drills Crooked holes or just Bad Luck.
It really isn’t bad luck. When it comes to Radar computer targets Stehly Bros like most drillers do not have the experience, talent and or the proper tooling.
Stehly Bros drills to fast, drill bit deflects with each fracture encountered.
Unfortunate, but they do have good equipment.
They are “Maybe” at 65% or less accuracy, lets say 50/50.
No statistical tabulation but drilled on many targets.
Paul tries to convince you to drill off target or not to use the service.
Paul Stehly stated to me that they drill crooked holes, Paul said “all drillers drill crooked holes, even Fain”. ??????
Joe Stehly years ago, purposely told me that they started to use a stabilizer to drill straight holes, but their drilling still veers off target.
On Radar Water computer generated targets if you want the water, do not hire Stehly Bros or the lesser drillers.
You will be taking a bad chance.
With crooked holes, pump bearings burn out within a year, maybe $3k to $5k per year maintenance.
Stehly Bros. did drill this one. Yield 500 gpm, needed 3 compressors to complete the well. Drilled, end of 2017. Cunningham Organic farm.
WHY was Stehly Bros. able to strike water on this computer target and not on others.
The aquifer system at this parcel is extremely wide. Hundreds of feet.
A crooked hole would have to be greater than 150 feet off target to miss the water.
Paul Stehly did suggest to Greg to drill off target around 150 feet. I warned the owner of Paul’s tactics. Greg is very happy with his new well, he stated, his best well,500gpm
